September 20, 1998 Tara Calico Tara Calico disappeared near her home in Belen, New Mexico on September 20 when she was riding her bike on the New Mexico state road 47. Tara and her mother, Patty Doel biked this road almost every morning until her mom stopped because she felt she was being stalked by a motorist. Patty wanted Tara to carry mase on her but she rejected that choice. On the morning of her disappearance, Tara had told her mother that if she was not back from riding at noon than to come and get her because she was going to play tennis with her boyfriend at 12:30. Patty went to go find Tara when she did not return at the time she said she would. Her mom went searching the bike route she always goes on. She did not find her daughter but she found pieces of her Sony Walkman and cassette tape. March 16, 2009 23-year-old Rhonda Castro and her boyfriend Steve Nichols set out the day of March 16 to hike a Eagle Creek Trail. The trail was very popular for a steep drop-off that looked over the Columbia River Gorge. No one knew that this day would be turned into a nightmare. Before they went on a hike, Castro dropped her 9-month-old daughter Ava with her mother. By early evening, a rescue team responded to a 911 call from Nichols. When they arrived at the scene, they found Castro's body lifeless at the bottom of a ravine. Nichols recalled the before the incident, he saw Castro running down a narrow trail with a towel behind her like "superman." He then remembered her sliding down the ravine and him trying to help her by swimming across a freezing creek to get her. By the time he got there, she was lifeless. January 31, 1996 Rachel had short hair when she disappeared Rachel was a 13-year-old girl who lived in Bolingbrook, Illinois. She attended Ward Middle School in 1996. One day she stayed home with a sore throat with her stepdad, Vincent, taking care of her. Her stepdad went to take their dog for a walk but before he did, he said that they were both playing video games before she fell asleep. When he left, he left the door unlocked and the last time he saw her, Rachel was laying in the bed wrapped up in a blue blanket.  While Rachel's stepdad was walking the dog, he said that the dog got loose and the walk lasted about thirty minutes, longer than he wanted to be gone. When he returned, Rachel was no where to be found. Police stated that Vincent noticed that she wasn't where he last saw her. When her mother, Amy, arrived home with more family members, she then called the police stating that her daughter was missing at around 5:00 p.m.  The two pillows and the blue bl
